The Melbourne University Japanese Club will be participating in the 2011 MYO Clubs & Societies Expo. To all returning members, we hope that you'll drop by to warmly greet the new committee members and to all interested individuals, come join us for an interesting cultural experience!!

皆さまこんにちは！ひさしぶりだね～
今週はメルボル大学の一学期を始まります。メルボルン戻っての学生たちに　｢お帰りなさい!」そして、メル大学の一年生たち　「初めまして!」。

Hello Everybody! Semester 1 2011 has begun! To all our returning students/club members, we wish you " WELCOME BACK" and to all our fresher's/new members, "Nice to meet you!".

The MUJC is pleased to announce that we are officially back in business. The business of providing all our club members with activities & events relating to the Japanese culture for the rest of 2011.
 
During last week's O-Week, the club has managed to register approximately 290 new/retuning members for 2011!! The turn out for our regular Kaiwa session (1 March 2011) has also completely blown us away! We actually ran out of space & chairs. We hope that everyone who attended enjoyed themselves & also enjoyed the free snacks :)

We would like to announce that the club is OPEN to recommendations for films that would be shown during our Japanese Movie Day held every fortnight. (Further information will be provided soon) You can leave us recommendations on our club's Facebook page (click to connect on the left sidebar).


Should anyone else be interested in joining the club. You can just turn up to our regular Kaiwa Sessions, every Tuesday @ Alice Hoy Room 242, 1-2pm.

**Membership is $2 for Student Union Members and $5 for non-UMSU members, it is your choice, but we do highly recommend you sign up for Student Union Membership as well, because of all the benefits it offers and that it is the club's livelihood.
